The apple doesn’t Fall From The Tree of this cocktail.
There’s nothing like a cocktail filled with fall flavor to get you through the season. The flavor of pumpkin in the Great Pumpkin or Pumpkin Spiced Old Fashioned, the warming spices of the Ginger Rabbit and Chai Collins, or of course, sweet apple in the Stone Fence and the Fall from the Tree.
The Fall from the Tree cocktail actually fell onto the menu of the Happiest Hour bar in New York City. Ironically, this modern bar is all about tropical, beauty vibes, but this autumnal drink appeared all the same. In fact, the Fall from the Tree is all the best of fall mixed up together – apples, cinnamon, and whiskey. Together the drink evokes a baked apple feeling that’s warming, comforting, and just a little bit spicy.
So the next time you get the urge to pick a bushel of fresh, fall apples, just remember that you could bake them into a cobbler, crisp, or pit for those baking spices and apple flavors OR you could simply pour yourself a Fall from the Tree and save yourself the hassle.
