To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 2 ounces of bourbon, 1½ ounces of apple cider, ½ ounce of cinnamon syrup, ¼ ounces of lemon juice, and 1 dash of Angostura Bitters.
Shake until very chilled.
Strain into a chilled Cocktail glass.
Cinnamon Syrup
To a saucepan, add 4 cinnamon sticks, 2 cups of sugar, and 2 cups of water.
Bring the mixture to a boil and stir until all of the sugar has dissolved.
Once boiling, turn the heat down a simmer and cover. Allow the syrup to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
