Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Glass
  • 1 Hawthorne Strainer
  • 1 Bar Spoon
  • 1 Cocktail Glass (chilled)

Ingredients

  • 1½ ounces Irish Whiskey
  • 1 ounce Sweet Vermouth
  • ½ ounce Green Chartreuse
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 twist Orange
  • 1 Brandied Cherry (garnish)

Instructions

  • To a mixing glass filled with ice, add 1 ½ ounces of Irish Whiskey, 1 ounce of Sweet Vermouth, ½ ounce of Green Chartreuse, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
  • Stir until everything is very cold.
  • Strain into the chilled cocktail glass.
  • Squeeze the twist of an orange over the glass and discard. Do not garnish.
  • Garnish with a Brandied Cherry.
