Bourbon Street Blues

The Bourbon Street Blues cocktail will make you anything but blue.

Servings: 1 Cocktail

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Glass
  • 1 Hawthorne Strainer
  • 1 Bar Spoon
  • 1 Cocktail Glass (chilled)

Ingredients

  • 1½ ounces Bourbon
  • ¾ ounce Sweet Vermouth
  • ½ ounce Crème de Mûre
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 twist Orange (garnish)

Instructions

  • To a mixing glass filled with ice, add 1½ ounces of Bourbon, ¾ ounce Sweet Vermouth, ½ ounce Crème de Mûre, and 2 dashes of bitters.
  • Stir until well chilled and then strain into a chilled Cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with additional blackberries and an orange twist.
