Brooklyn
With rye whiskey and Amer Picon, the Brooklyn is a modern variation on the classic Manhattan whiskey cocktail.
Equipment
- 1 Mixing Glass
- 1 Bar Spoon
- 1 Hawthorne Strainer
- 1 Coupe Glass (chilled)
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Rye Whiskey
- 1 ounce Dry Vermouth
- ¼ ounce Maraschino Liqueur (Luxardo)
- ¼ ounce Amer Picon
- 1 Maraschino Cherry
Instructions
- To a mixing glass filled with ice, add 2 ounces of Rye Whiskey, 1 ounce of Dry Vermouth, ¼ ounce Maraschino Liqueur, and ¼ ounce of Amer Picon.
- Stir until chilled.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
