The most famous whiskey cocktail that you’ve never heard of.
Equipment
- 1 Mixing Glass
- 1 Hawthorne Strainer
- 1 Bar Spoon
- 1 Cocktail Glass (chilled)
Ingredients
- 1½ ounces Bourbon
- 1 ounce Sweet Vermouth
- ¼ ounce Maraschino Liqueur
- 1 Maraschino Cherry (garnish)
Instructions
- To a mixing glass filled with ice, add 1½ ounces of Bourbon, 1 ounce of Sweet Vermouth, and ¼ ounce of Maraschino Liqueur.
- Use a bar spoon to stir until very chilled.
- Strain into a chilled Cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a cherry.
