In the bottom of a Rocks glass, muddle a few fresh, chopped strawberries. Fill the glass with ice.
In a cocktail shaker also filled with ice, add 3 ounces of Bourbon, 1 ounce of lemon juice, ½ ounce of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.
Shake the mixture until very chilled.
Strain into the rocks glass, leaving a bit of room in the glass.
Top the drink off with Ginger Beer.
Garnish with a fresh strawberry.
