Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Glass
  • 1 Bar Spoon
  • 1 Cocktail Glass

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Whiskey (Bourbon or Rye)
  • 1 ounce Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 Brandied Cherry (garnish)

Instructions

  • In a mixing glass filled with ice, add 2 ounces of whiskey, 1 ounce of Sweet Vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.
  • Stir until well chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with a Brandied Cherry.
